Riverside County Blythe Jail is a medium-security Adult in Blythe, Riverside County, California. The 121-bed capacity facility has been operational since 1997 and boasts of about 4626 bookings yearly. The Larry D. Smith Correctional is a medium-security inmate facility for Riverside County. It is a 294-cell building and houses up to 500 inmates. The facility contains ancillary space providing adjacent support functions for administrative and Sheriff offices, transport holding, property storage, isolation cells, recreation yards, and associated support spaces.

Located in the downtown area of Riverside, California, the Robert Presley Detention Center was opened in 1989 replacing the old Riverside County Jail. RPDC and the Detention Care Unit at Riverside University Health Systems are under the command of a Sheriff’s Captain and are administered under the direction of the Corrections Division Chief Deputy.
